The Next Chapter’s Cast: 2022

Rogue Swan Theatre Company is created to support the fine arts by producing and presenting plays and performances that are meant to educate, enrich culture, and benefit the community. It is organized to engage with the community, promote art, support charitable causes, and provide education. This includes giving to and supporting other non-profit organizations.

Rogue Swan encourages the performing arts at large towards harmony in our pursuit of entertainment. We challenge our audience to imagine the unimaginable. We take iconic music and present it in fresh, exciting ways that entertain and surprise. In short, we create unique and imaginative experiences for our audience.

Learn about our values

  • We encourage creativity and self-expression in every member of our troupe.  This includes infusing our style in every show we perform so that audiences can experience art they are familiar with from a new perspective.

  • This company is not a “community theatre” but instead a theatre for the community. Rogue Swan is a playground for all types of performing artists. Dancers of various specialties, musicians from all areas of life, and aerial performers are just a few of the types of artists that are integrated into our troupe. The diversity of backgrounds, experience levels, and passions are essential for cultivating the growth and creativity that sets our troupe apart.

  • Our variety of backgrounds, both personally and artistically, allows us to create an environment for education and growth within our troupe. Our goal is to take that wealth of knowledge and extend it outwards through workshops, camps or classes. These activities do not just in musical theatre, but all forms of performing arts we represent within our troupe. Through our performances, we offer audiences the opportunity to learn about the variety of stage arts represented in our company, in the hopes of striking a spark of passion in a new art form.

  • Respect is essential to any successful company. We believe in showing respect for each other, our audiences, and for the craft we are performing. Theatre and performing arts are meant to be a safe space, a place where we can explore difficult concepts, grow talent, and embrace who we are. We do not discriminate and encourage different ideas that challenge us and allow us to grow as a troupe. We want our audience to look forward to each new production and to be proud to support Rogue Swan. For both the quality of the show, and the way with which we conduct ourselves as a local nonprofit in their community.
